    Ordered take-out. The food was great, great service and hospitality. Definitely will be trying different dishes here. My tray had a lot of food in it. The oxtails were tender and very well seasoned.

    The oxtails were tender and very well seasoned. The cabbage had a very nice crunch and was not too soft. The peas and rice were delicious. I really enjoyed my food. I tried this food at the Juneteenth festival so I cannot give a review of the restaurant itself only the food.

    Their customer service is TOP TIER! I had oxtails, rice and peas, plantains, cabbage, and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious! I wasn’t a fan of the Mac and cheese though. It was ok, just not what I like. I would define my recommend giving them a try though.

    Food for Thought-Please Read!!

    This place is good, affordable and has great potential. My first encounter the food was absolutely amazing. I went on a Thursday around 6:45pm! The oxtails were super tender, the gravy was the perfect consistency and the rice, jerk wings and plantains were spot on! The service was amazing and the restaurant was nice and clean!

    Now: Saturday comes around and it’s 4:00pm. I take my family but now the A1 deliciousness was not the same! The oxtail gravy was thinner and oily, I mean oily!! I asked for yams expecting sweet potatoes but it was a real yam boiled and had no flavor and was hard not even fork tender.

    The jerk wings this time around were dry and I thought maybe they were left over from the night before! I was so sad and embarrassed that I’d spoke so highly so soon because it was just not good!

    With that being said give them a try because they deserve it for the superb customer service and the hard effort!
    It’s still one of the better places throughout Charlotte and Concord! I’ll try them one last time to support and hopefully it will be like that first encounter! I’ll come back to give an update!!

    Really excited to see a Jamaican restaurant pop-up in downtown Concord. The Jerk Chicken and Mac and Cheese were delicious.
