WOW- we just got back from Puerto Rico a month ago, so the amazing flavors were fresh on our mind and we didn't expect to get them so close to home- newest addition to Gibson Mills food court, the menu was EXCELLENT with a nice mix of standards and hybrids, my kids got Mac and cheese - they were thrilled (it was so good!!) And I tell you this- we were going to hit Smoke Pit the other day and this pork?? THIS PORK?! all's I'm saying is the good ol BBQ places better watch out for how good this pork was.
There was a huge line for Johnny Rogers burgers, there was a ton of people waiting for pizza. Don't let this spot pass you by, it's an absolute hit and I can't wait for more. Glad we got to come early on! Thanks team, keep up the good work!!
Easily the best representation of island (Puerto Rican) food I've had outside of NY or PR
I will 100% be coming back for sure! The Mofongo with the mojo pork was superb. The pork was tender, juicy, and seasoned well. Mofongo had a hint of natural sweetness with a beautiful savory and garlicky finish. The arroz con gandules (rice and beans) that comes with it was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. I grew up eating this and it was so authentic and delicious would highly recommend for anyone trying to get a taste of Puerto Rican cuisine.
