Amigo Taqueria

This is one of those amazing food places where nothing is fancy, and everything is done well. I always intend to try more than their breakfast, but their latest addition of breakfast tacos and their amazing breakfast burritos (with giant chunks of the most delicious potato) just get me every time. The seating area is kept immaculate, and their staff is amazing. This is the kinda place you work into your routine because it's that great combination of well priced, well made, and quick. Love it.

(*edited to add: I ordered about an hour before closing, take into consideration.) I’m gon cry lol. I moved out here from Texas and I’ve been suffering, CLT metro has no good food! I ordered the Birria Quesadilla and it was PERFECT. (I would love if y’all offered lamb birria, but it’s chefs kiss, regardless.) I also ordered a Carne Asada taco and it was a little salty for me, but still extremely flavorful. And I ordered the elote, corn was cooked perfectly. I’m used to more chile powder and hot sauce, but I’m honestly more than satisfied. Y’all have a new regularrr!

Place deserves it's 5 stars. Food was great, birria tacos were the best I ever had. Friendly service and clean restrooms. Horchata was also great. I will always make time to stop by this place when in the area.

Best Birria tacos & quesadillas in town! Great authentic Mexican food, really delicious! The green chilaquiles are my favorite!
