It seems like most of the bad reviews on here are due to wait times. I went Monday morning around 10am and there was no wait. We had a great server named Taylor who had really good menu recommendations (our first time here so we didn’t know what to get). I had the traditional breakfast and have no complaints. My boyfriend really enjoyed the ricotta pancakes that was topped with strawberries and some type of lemon spread. Large portions of food so make sure to come hungry!
The only thing I didn’t love was the cold brew coffee. Just not strong enough in my opinion. Pretty on par with other restaurants coffee but I usually drink a dark brew that brews for 24 hours in a French press.
Final thoughts: definitely your best breakfast option on concord mills. Priced at about $10 a plate but the portions are big. The menu was really diverse so there is something for everyone. This will probably be my go to as Maple street is good but a little over priced and Toast just is not good to me.
Being a new place and everyone wanting to eat here means there was about an hour wait. It was worth it, completely worth it. Had a wonderful waitress who helped pick out my meal. The steak and hash is sooo good, perfectly medium rare and potatoes that just melt in your mouth. Sweet little donut holes in powdered sugar, 3 dipping sauces (personal favorite is the berry). I definitely will be coming back here again.
Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday since this place just opened and also because most of the negative reviews are for long waits on the weekends. Though the restaurant was busy, we were seated and waited on promptly. We had the half sandwich and soup or salad special. Salads we're excellent, very tasty and the sandwiches we're delicious and fresh too. Good size portions. We'll be back to try breakfast, but definitely not on a weekend or holiday. Only complaint, is they do not offer discounts for first responders, fire, police or military, hence the four stars.
Now Open! What a great breakfast. Great, friendly service and the food is scrumptious. Highly recommend the carrot cake and pecan pancakes. The syrup is served warm, too! Nice menu options for various dietary needs. Also have kids menu. Love the coffee carafe at the table for self service. Looking forward to trying other breakfast items and lunch, too.
