Full Moon Oyster Bar - Atlantic Beach

Stop pretending. When I want seafood, this is what I dream about. This was fantastic seafood. Skip the expensive exotic drinks and come for the food. I can't remember when I've had such good seafood. This. This is what I'm talking about. Sit outside, order the wide variety of steamed seafood, and enjoy. Thank me later for the recommendation.

Excellent establishment. Food was excellent, some of the better raw oysters and shrimp I have had, period. They oysters were fresh and the staff was extremely knowledgeable regarding sourcing and flavor. Shrimp had great flavor and texture. Does have locally sourced sea food. Staff constantly offering help, checking on experience. Hosts a wide variety of activities including live music. Will offer corn hole and jenga outside as well as outside bar service. Probably our best food experience on the coast so far. Seating is a bit odd; there are no indoor tables. Tables outside only. Otherwise don’t pass it up.

We ate there twice during our week stay. We always pick the place we liked best for our last night out. Our last night throw down was at Full Moon. We started with seared tuna bites then it was a dozen oysters on the half shell, from there a cup of delicious she crab bisque. The main course was steamed mussels. We ended the evening with a slab of key lime pie. Yes we made pig's of ourselves and we will go back and do it again because everything was super delicious.

Great oyster raw bar + cooked options, seafood restaurant and bar; take the oyster challenge win a T-shirt great for groups, date-night or family. Dining inside outside deck area, games to play while waiting or while stand up eating and enjoying drinks a different deck area, worth the drive. And the restaurant is at Atlantic Beach, NC.

Wow....best crab legs on the island hands down, this place is happening, the staff is great too! If you're looking for fast food...go somewhere else! It's worth the wait. You're at the beach, slow down and enjoy...we go on different nights, some times really busy...sometimes we sit right down. The staff are not magicians, they work as hard as they can. Come to relax, sit on the waterfront deck have a drink, the food is great!
