My mom and I went to have afternoon tea with snacks. They had a Sherlock Holmes mini-play which was fun to watch and we enjoyed ourselves. It was worth a 3 hour drive from Raleigh!

Delicious (and beautiful) food served in a lovely tearoom with a wonderful atmosphere. In addition to great food they put on live, festive plays. The actors are the servers! I drive from Jacksonville to Morehead frequently for the homemade quiche of the day and salad with walnuts. They offer a variety of teas but I prefer old fashioned sweetened iced tea which they also serve. You need to eat at this cafe!

This quaint restaurant is open for breakfast & lunch. They have a Variety of sandwiches, salads, quiches, & soups. Their teas from around the world are their specialty & the owners create their very own “fusion” specialty drinks. They also serve dessert if you are craving something sweet. There’s a homemade secret recipe of some sort of sweet potato (can’t remember the name) that you must try.

This place is a hidden gem!! Went for an early lunch with my mom, and we were the only ones there. I’m not sure why this place wasn’t crowded because from start to finish our experience was wonderful! The atmosphere of the restaurant was really cool, the music matched the vibe, and our waiter, Josh, was knowledgeable, helpful, and nice. We started with drinks. I had a tea and my mom had some kind of fruit infusion drink. Both were delicious. Then I had quiche and she had the chicken salad sandwich. All of it was amazing!! And definitely try the chips and blue cheese dip!!
This place is really something special. I would recommend.
