    Very good food, large portions, had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and a very good cheesecake, friendly people and atmosphere....worth the drive from Charlotte

    Catawba Comfort Kitchen makes the best greens I've ever eaten, hands down... and I've had some incredible greens in my lifetime! But, you can't go wrong with any if their sides if greens aren't your thing. As a matter of fact, everything my family and I have eaten here has been better than great. They aren't being fast and loose by using the word 'comfort' in their name. What they're cooking up in the kitchen feeds more than your belly!

    We picked up dinner and it was wonderful. I had the fried pork chop and my son had the meatloaf, both were great! Can't wait to get back.

    Best Fried Chicken, collards and mac n cheese ever! Worth the drive - Amazing Value - Owners are hometown, hardworking locals!
