Panera Bread

First time here in hickory location. I'm guessing they are well known for healthy food. I had the noodle soba soup that tasted like vegetables broth. Nothing too special. I got a spoon for my noodles, clearly when I had noodles. I hope they adjust for better customer service on food. All I can say is they are really plain.

Food is generic Panera, but there seemed to be less broccoli in the cheddar broccoli soup and fewer apple crisps in the apple-chicken salad. Weren't given a choice of bread, apple, or chips as is normal. Only place I've been where they refused to put a latte in my own travel mug. Said health inspector wouldn't allow it, so I guess all the other Panera locations, independent coffee shops, and even Starbucks are violating health regs. Cashier was not rude, but rote and after telling us about a $ off beverage, had to be asked to apply it. If all Paneras were like this one, I would look for alternatives.

Always good consistent service. Good food, if a little narrow on offerings. Always a safe bet for kids and adults to find something

I love Panera bread but I love this particular location because of the staff. They are very kind and always really personable. The soup is delicious. I like to mix up the sandwiches I get and everyone of them that I have tired are wonderful. I may or may not be addicted to the tomato soup.... Lol
