La Autentica Mexican Restaurant

This was our first time at La Autentica and I can easily say we will be back to try some of their other dishes. We stayed pretty simple and classic with our choices this time. We started with the Guacamole Mexicano. It was chunky and full of flavor. Just a note: if you don't like a lot of spice ask for them to go light on the jalapeños. It was a bit spicy. For entrées I had the chicken fajitas and my husband chose tacos. The chicken was nicely seasoned. I didn't find any gristle which was definitely appreciated. My husband had a grilled chicken, pastor, and barbacoa tacos. Again, everything was seasoned really well and tasted fresh. Next time we'll try their margaritas. I also want to give their Ceviche a try.

Not only were the portions larger than expected but the flavors were so much better than any previous versions of these items I’ve ever tasted.
They were so attentive to our needs. I honestly couldn’t finish my plate. The sweet tea was some of the sweetest I’ve had so if you don’t like sugar order something else. We also had the fried icecream, and the fried cheesecake with fried icecream and both could have been shared between two people. I ordered the Joel Special with a side of flour tortillas and an avocado,My husband had the ACP steak and chicken.

Excellent!! The restaurant is large with plenty of seating and a separate private dining room. At 5:30 there was a 20 minute wait and the parking lot was packed. The menu is huge so look at it online before you go. The service was excellent. The complimentary chips and 3 different salsas was delicious. The Arroz con Camarones (ACP except with shrimp instead of chicken) was amazing! Very large portions. Full service bar. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

You know what’s better than blabbering about food? Yup, eating! All the plates me and family ordered. Every single one was delicious. Service was kinda slow, but they did just recently open, so it was expected. Would recommend and definitely be back soon!!

It's great having a new restaurant along 321!! The building is really nice. Once inside, you see the majesty of the high ceiling and warmth of the wood. The staff quickly took us to our booth to soak in the ambiance. The menu was two pages, with a lot listed. The combinations were at the bottom of the page. I had a chicken taco, chicken enchilada combo w/ rice & beans. It came out timely and was very good. The waitress was sweet and checked on us frequently. I will definitely be back. It was a great experience!!
