Garfield's Family Restaurant

Fabulous menu - huge portions - very reasonable prices. Had the Summer Salad - one of the best I have ever had. Shredded lettuce, fresh chunks of pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, dried cranberries, and pecans with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. My wife had the Shrimp and Grits - outstanding. If you leave here hungry it is your own fault. This is a family restaurant - no adult beverages - not an issue for us. You can get Breakfast all day long! Will be back.

Great New Family Restaurant! Food was delicious, Hubby had one of the breakfast bowls. It was piled high with all the breakfast favorites. I had the opened Roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and side of mac and cheese it was absolutely fantastic and a huge portion. Our server was Ben, He was very friendly and did a great job at answering all our questions about the menu. Never had to wait for a refill or want for anything because he was on top of it. The only down fall for me was they serve Pepsi and not Coke but for great food and Service I will make that little sacrifice

Very nice dining room! Clean! Our waitress was so sweet! We had one other lady helping us too that was really nice! The food was good and plenty! The fried pickles are amazing! The pancakes were heaven in my mouth! My husband already eats there daily but this was our family's first time and experience together! We were very pleased and will definitely visit again!

I went with my father on their third day open, five days ago. The staff was friendly across the board. The inside felt a little stale/boring, it has no personality. A little more decor would help.
The food; Dad had the biscuits & gravy, which he seemed to really enjoy but they had little gravy for the size of the biscuits, but they happily gave us more and said others had mentioned more gravy was needed as a staple for the biscuits, which they agreed.
I had the country fried steak & eggs, the flavor was good and I did like it but the piece of steak I had was tough and as a matter of personal opinion it too could have use about 2 tablespoons more gravy on it. The side of grits were very good.

Update; went back tried the country fried steak & eggs again. No improvement on the steak. I also tried Black&Blue burger, I couldn't taste the blacken in the burger, but despite that it was fine.
My overall thoughts of Garfield's, basic food with nice flavor but not worth going out of your way for.
