I stopped in here on my birthday for lunch. The veggie quiche and red velvet latte were delicious and service was friendly and quick.

Glad we found this gem in Newton! This place is great. Service was top notch and everything we ordered was great. We had avocado toast, sausage egg and cheese croissant with a latte. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place! Very warming modern atmosphere with relaxing music. Also you can play some vintage vinyls that’s next to entrance. My to go to cappuccino’s so amazingly tasty that I ditched Starbucks for good. I was forever looking for best coffee that’s close to me and I’m so glad that one day I just decided to give it a try. They also have boozy drinks wine teas and some tasty food. I’ve tried monti Cristo sandwich and avocado lovers. Also chocolate muffin cause I had a bad day and that brought a smile to my face. Super fresh.

The food is pretty good and reasonably priced, I'll give them that. I also adored the atmosphere and the friendly owners. The coffee drink was just okay for me (mocha). The quiche was good and the breakfast sandwich was buttery and flavorful, although I question whether the 'bacon' was bacon bits instead of fresh bacon crumbles. It was still good though regardless.

We somehow ended up spending $27 (including the $4+ tip) for a slice of quiche, a breakfast sandwich and 2 coffee drinks. I'm not sure how that happened when the prices on the sign for iced coffees are nowhere near $5+/each like they rang up. I'm not sure our drinks were even espresso drinks since they tasted more like the cold brew they had on the counter, so that's even more confusing since coffee is a lot less than espresso drinks. I saw an extra $.80+ charge for using a credit card too that I didn't see until I paid. So I think the coffee drinks are WAY overpriced for just okay quality and this meal was way more than we'd spend anywhere else locally for a small meal with coffee. They should probably update the pricing on the signs since it's not close to what rings up. Because of the price, this is probably a one and done place for us unless we get a food item to go next time we visit family in the area. I came to this place because the prices were reasonable, but ended up spending $6-$8 more (without tip) than expected based on pics from previous reviews.

We were visiting family from out of town and are blessed with amazing coffee shops in Durham with locally roasted beans, so we're always on the hunt for good espresso drinks elsewhere from local businesses when we travel. This was only a 3 out of 5 star coffee for me since they don't make the mocha like a serious/authentic coffee shop, instead they use mocha syrup, which gives it a more artificial and minimal mocha flavor. I wasn't a fan of the roast either, which tasted like a Columbian roast. Maybe my standards for coffee are just too high since we've had the best in locally roasted coffee during our travels throughout the U.S. But definitely give the food a try and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Don't let my review stop you from supporting a local business. The local coffee shops are few and far between in this area, so this is still better than most. They're still nice people. I'm still on the hunt for that great mocha in the area :-)

We recently moved to Newton and this was our first visit to Narrow. We were not disappointed! I ordered the meat quiche which was loaded with Black Forest ham. My husband enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and my daughter the Monte Christo sandwich —each saying that theirs were delicious as well. We were also happy to have accidentally arrived in time for Narrow’s first Saturday Serenade Brunch. Anthony and Brian were the musicians and they did a fabulous job as well! Everything was perfect and we are already planning our next visit. I highly recommend Narrow Coffee and Nosh for breakfast, brunch, or lunch in Newton.
