The Modern Life Deli and Drinks

Very nice, casual dining. Many interesting choices for salads, sandwiches and wood fired pizza. Staff was attentive but not obtrusive. Food was really good and the prices reasonable. Tuesday beer special was a nice surprise. Beer, wine and cocktail assortment was impressive. Check out my photo of the "Popeye and Olive Oil" pizza I loved eating out on the patio.

We have eaten here a few times now and each time the food was of good quality, very fresh, and tasty. This visit was the first time we have tried the pizza and was surprised about how good it was. The pizza was not greasy at all. I would have liked more blue cheese and chicken on the buffalo chicken pizza but that is just a personal taste. The Greek salad was also excellent and between that and the pizza it was just enough for two people! Looking forward to going back and trying more!

I had wanted to try this place out for a while. We sat outside to enjoy the weather. The server was very kind, but VERY slow and very forgetful. The salads were fresh, and my housemade Cesar dressing was delicious. My husband's Mediterranean salad was just okay. The pizza was nothing special. I asked for light cheese and it was still too much. I cannot imagine what the normal amount would have been! If it had not been for the slow service, I would have given this place four stars.

Great place for pizza and burgers. Try the Lily Den burger with jalapeno pimento cheese spread. It is awesome. Good selection of beer and liquor. Good service. Limited parking in the back though.

Good food, good drinks. Great pizza on a gluten free crust. There was a large celebration party that caused service to lag a little, and they comped us a great salad while we waited for the great pizza. Otherwise would have been 5-star. We will definitely go back.
