Johnson's Drive-In

We loved it!! We did have to wait 20 minutes but the kindness of the staff and the quality of the food made it worthwhile. If you are near Siler City NC you need to make time for a stop here.

The cheeseburger was delicious! We drove a little over two hours to try it. And to me it was worth the drive.???? They know how to make a cheeseburger! The only thing we didn't like was the dining in areas were too small. So we did take out.

Have eaten here several times on my way "to and from". The service is good but a little haphazard ( I've had a couple of mixed up orders). The hamburgers, cheeseburgers and hot dogs are good but ordinary and the fries are frozen (ugh!). The food is better than the fast food franchises and the ambiance is much more interesting.

Some of the best Cheeseburgers you will ever sink your teeth into. About 1/2 lbs hamburger and equal amount of cheese both cooked on a grill simmering to perfection. The bun is also browned to a golden brown on the grill also. Add chili and onions and you would fight somebody just to get one. The only drawback are the hours that they are actually open but then, you are the best and don't need to stay open all the time. Stop in and order one and tell'em Duck sent you.

This is an amazing family owned restaurant that has been around for at least 40 years. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and efficient based on the size of their kitchen and orders that come in. You can eat in in their glass area or make a take out order. Your Food is not cooked into you order it so if you’re taking the food to go plan to wait a few minutes. But the owner will talk to you and make it a pleasant experience. It’s worth getting off the road for a few minutes to have this experience of a North Carolina classic.
