The restaurant really has become our go to for Mexican food. Always fresh and delicious. Good pricing and of course generous portions so we always have leftovers. Staff is always attentive and on the ball.
Huge portions. Nice wait staff. Food tasted good, not bland. The rice was done perfect. I've always left it on my plate at most Mexican restaurants, because its dry or bland. They made it just right.
The food was wonderful. Staff was very nice. Our plates were massive! 4 people would have been satisfied with the food we ordered for two. Not sure if all the plates are that size.
5/13/2019 Update: It only gets better the more you try it! It's been a while stopping here since we don't eat out often due to my wife's allergies. But on my own, I try to eat here when I can. Late one evening a couple of days ago I stopped by -- this time got a different waiter and tried their Tres Amigos. If you love Mexican, this dish is a must even if you have to share! It's a pretty big meal, but pass up the rice or the beans if you want (though they are just fine) to feast on the Chile Verde, Chile Colorado and Chile Rellenos. My new favorite! And my waiter was prompt and attentive even so late. Just a pleasure to eat here!
This is my favorite local Mexican restaurant. Popular with many others also. A good, re-named business that moved from a nearby location, expanded and improved. Daily specials, extensive menu, unique items as well as typical Mexican fare. Nice atmosphere with many seating options. Outstanding, fast and helpful service. I've tried many dishes and keep discovering new favorites. If you like hot, ask for extra spicy -- otherwise you will get flavorful, but not hot.
The service was excellent & is the reason for the three stars. I know a lot of people rave about this place, but we did not enjoy anything we ordered. We were pretty surprised when our food came out topped with Kraft singles. American cheese doesn’t really melt so there were just odd cheese squares covering everything (there was also some white melty cheese thankfully). My husband ordered a taco salad & when it came out, it wasn’t in a tortilla bowl, just on a plate. That was interesting. I can’t remember what dish I had, but the chicken really tasted like it came from a can. It wasn’t slow cooked in any sort of tomato base, or shredded like usual, just chunks of unseasoned chicken. I don’t know, maybe they were out of everything that night & had to improvise because a lot of locals really seem to like that place. Not us though & I can’t see us going back. The service was awesome though so at least there was that.
