They have amazing food, wonderful service, the restaurant inside is very nice. They also have these wooden eggs that someone hand makes and they sell, my mom loves them. We usually go here 2x a month or more.
Usually the food is good, but today it just wasn't up to par. We each had a cup of Vegetable Beef Soup, which was okay. Then we had a trip to the Salad Bar, which didn't have a lot of variety. I would have to say the best part of the meal was the light, fluffy biscuit and apple butter they gave us when we first sat down. We were also a little shocked that a cup of Soup and one trip to the Salad Bar cost just as much as a Chicken Strip Dinner.
The food was better than good! Brought 4 vegetables changes daily ( corn on the cob, cream potatoes, stewed apples, and green beans, was out of the 5th vegetable) to the table (all you care to eat with refills), your selected entree, bread with butter and apple butter, yum! We got there an hour before closing on Sunday afternoon. He had Beef Tips with the (extra charge) onions, peppers, and mushrooms ( not worth the $2.49 extra charge). My Sugar Ham with pineapple rings and sauce was delicious! Then the dessert today was a choice of Peach or apple pie. Drinks are included. We will definitely be back!!
Fantastic service from the nicest and most cheerful staff person of all time! Her name is Sydney... Not only does Sydney have an excellent, “Real” friendly personality, she is very accurate with her customer service. The food was excellent, fried green tomatoes was the best I’ve ever had, period! Everyone in our group was beyond pleased with the service and food....Hands down the best place to eat in Murphy!!
Some of the absolute best Southern food I've ever had. The collards were from scratch like home made...with smoked turkey falling off the bone. Huge melt in your mouth biscuits. Baked potatoes that you just can't stop eating. I would love to go back, but live far away.
