Our party of 4 were so excited to enjoy brunch. The setting is perfection. The server, Kaylynn was so attentive and fun!
We all ordered the monto Cristo with tomato bisque and we were not sorry! (Typically, as foodies,
we would order 4 selections and share, however this comfort food dish was what we all needed! Thick sliced French toast with stacked smokey ham, meltted gruyere and a sweet pickle relish and mustard was EVERYTHING! The tomato bisque was hearty with complex flavors, onion, butter, and basil were lovely high notes.
This was overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely bring all my out of town guests here as well as enjoy this gem myself!
Thank you so much, Cotton Gin Inn Culinary team, very well done!
I am pretty sure this is the best bed and breakfast inn we have ever used. The beds and linens are top notch. The home and furnishings are lovely and clean. And the breakfast? Absolutely awesome. Owner and chef, Cheryl, made amazing breakfasts from locally sourced products. Looking forward to staying there again!
Cheryl, the Innkeeper owner and chef, treats guests to a fabulous B&B experience. The Inn is a beautiful historical property, with lovely decor and an incredible wrap around porch with tables and seating. We loved our huge first floor bedroom with a very comfy bed and so many amenities. The cherry on top of a stay at this beautiful inn is the five star gourmet breakfast that Cheryl serves her guests. The breakfast alone is worth many repeat visits, and we certainly hope to return. I highly recommend this B&B for couples and singles.
My husband and I hosted our wedding at this venue. From the inn for our stay, to the grounds and food… everything was perfect. Cheryl and Randy are extremely accommodating and kind. We recommend this place for anyone looking to host an event or a getaway stay. The rooms are cozy and private. The grounds are beautiful with flowers and trees. The location is amazing, located near the historic district. So many good things to say about this place!
The Cotton Gin Inn is a wonderful place just outside of town that is so appropriate for an area like Edenton, NC. We stayed for two nights and everything from a relaxing coffee on the huge porch in the morning to the quiet evenings, it is a perfect place to relax and enjoy. Cheryl, the hostess and owner, is so gracious and welcoming and it is obvious she enjoys her work. She has create a workable and safe environment for all guests. There are a lot of things to praise and use a variety of superlatives to describe, but her breakfasts are absolutely awesome. While we very much enjoyed both breakfasts, the shrimp and grits is a feast not to be missed. The place is awesome, the hostess is great, the experience is wonderful and we will be back.
