Carlotta's

I love this restaurant. They have great sandwiches that are priced very competitive. The bratwurst is my husband's favorite. I love the muffaleta. Save room for one of the many flavor snowballs.

Great sandwiches, bad salesmanship
Great sandwiches (fried oysters in Hayesville? - yup), million dollars location - so they should be always packed, right? But they are NOT !!! Reason - NOWHERE there is a sign or info that FOOD is being sold here. Not on the building, not on the lawn, nowhere. This place used to be a thrift store, the new owner placed Carlotta's sign on the lawn - and now it is up to passing by potential customers to figure out what are they selling there. Lawn movers, furniture or Carlotta's? -:) I was passing this place almost one year 5 times a week and I did not have a clue what they are selling (I just assumed that this is another thrift store). I told them this about 2 months ago, did they add any FOOD info to their sign? Of course not.
8/7/19 update: "New Orleans style Po'Boys" sign is now there. Glad they listen to their customers. Call me picky, but does everybody know what Po'Boy is? I asked on my job in Murphy, NC, from 8 guys 4 knew and 4 did not know. Also I don't like the colors on the sign. It is too busy with green and pink so the message is not very clear (not every day is great visibility). Also info about snow cones would be appropriate. Thanks.

Great food, service and very clean.

Nice outside area. The inside was clean and inviting. Ordered two hotdogs and a tiger's blood snow cone. The hot dogs were okay, the snow cone was amazing. Also took a muffelaletta home for later. It was delicious & enough for 2 to 4 four people to share. Highly recommend.

Best sandwiches around...by far! Oyster poboy can't be beat. Good food good service. Highly recommend.
