    When you see the first word on the sign after the name, what would be the expectation for the lunch buffet?

    Welp, this place did not have BBQ on the buffet. They did have some very good friend chicken, Crowder peas, green beans, fish and peach cobbler. But not BBQ.

    I'd still go back, as the staff were friendly. But no BBQ on the lunch buffet? That just seemed weird.

    We stopped in for lunch. Didn't want a huge meal, so passed on the buffet, but it was fresh looking and well stocked, nice variety for only $9.25 including a drink. We had the bacon cheeseburger, very tasty and only $3.50. Other sandwiches included sliced pork, chop, bbq, and many more. Servers and owner were very prompt and attentive. Very nice stop.

    Stopped in for Sunday lunch on our way out of town. Food was wonderful! Home made,and hot. No frozen chicken or squash there! Buffet was loaded with choices. Service was good with keeping our drinks filled. Will stop again when we come back to the beach.

    Good country food stamps it's best. I have gone past this place for many years and never stopped. A diamond in the ruff! Such great country food!
