Big Apple Pizza Bistro

Ordered some wings to accompany my beer and hockey... now I like my wings hot, fresh, and a little crispy. Usually when food is delivered it’s a little “soggy” or cold... but not this place. This food comes straight outta the fryer/oven/whatever straight to your door. Needless to say I’m fat, full, and happy. 10/10 oh and them BBQ wings are FIRE.

Decent pizza, but overall it's just basic. Nothing stands out, overloaded with cheese, sauce takes like it's from a can. I've worked in the pizza industry for 10 years (been a manager for 6 out of 10), starting out at a Brooklyn style pizza joint; this pizza doesn't compare to the real thing. On a side note, they charge $19.99 for a plain medium white pie, which is missing sauce (a usually expensive part of the pizza) and adds 2 ingredients (basil, garlic). A plain medium pie is $12.29. That math doesn't add up and seems like a cash grab for a pretty typical and less expensive pizza. I've never seen a white pizza more than a regular and if so, only by a buck or two. 3 out of 5 stars from a guy who has worked every part of a pizza restaurant; many of my peers and bosses would agree that a flashy store with basic pizza isn't real NY-style ????

Great place for pizza! There are other things on the menu as well including pasta, salads, wings, etc. Love all the food except the wings. Tried them more than a few times and everytime the wings are overcooked and hard. But the pizza and salads are amazing! I also love the decor and atmosphere. Employees there are friendly and provide great service.

Best place to eat in this area by far . This is the cleanest eatery in Craven County that I have been to. They are an “A” restaurant ! The staff is equip with the friendliest employees in the area as well. They are focused on serving the best tasting food in a very efficient time frame. I definitely recommend Big Apple.

Absolutely the BEST vegetarian sub I've ever had!!! I grew up eating here over 20 years ago. The quality of the food has stayed the same, but they do keep adding other great choices to the menu. This is a must visit every time I'm back in town, and the new digs are amazing (even if it has been a couple of years already)!!
