Waffle House

Hash brown bowls with sausage and bacon were excellent. Waffle was great! Service was friendly, order was taken as soon as we were ready and food came quickly.

Service was good. Karina was friendly and kept checking on us. Food was hot. Grits didn't seem fresh. No one seems to make the good old fashioned southern eggs and cheese anymore. People make cheese eggs and the cheese overpowers the eggs. The cheese is sliced cheese, not regular chunk cheese. Like I said, food was hot, and edible.

Wow what a surprise! The late night staff and cook are great. There was a warm greeting over my cup of coffee. The bacon and over easy eggs were perfect. The waitress had great customer service. Right before I walked out the cook made a point to ask if my meal was to my satisfaction. That was a pleasant surprise. My perception of Waffle House has changed for the better since I came over this article... "The Waffle House Index is an informal metric used by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to determine the effect of a storm and the likely scale of assistance required for disaster recovery. If you get there and the Waffle House is closed? That's really bad.... " Who knew?
