Loved the atmosphere

This establishment serves as a lunch and dinner dining with High tea on Sundays, if enough people book for it.
There are antique treasures to be found. From a Andy Griffin to an antique bowl.
It now holds events, must be booked well in advance.
It's ran by a wonderful retired couple Mr. Mason and Mrs. Carla.
It's a staple here in Hope Mills historical district.
Customers are asked to use the side entrance.
Mrs. Carla makes fine dishes from all over the world.

It's not a mom and pop place . Its really good food that is excellently prepared and very healthful. I go every two weeks because they are always changing the menu.

I decided to pop into the BHT&TR I read an article about revamping and was curious to see the establishment.

What a treat! From the whimsical furnishings, antiques and delicious offerings to the sweet, affable proprietors.
I dropped in less than an hour before closing, not only were they gracious and gave me a grand tour, and encourage I peruse the antiques and collectibles. But insisted that I stay and visit the dining area.
I'm in the habit of noting sanitation grades. I'm hard-pressed to eat at an establishment that has a grade of less than 95(my preference).
Much too my delight, near the checkout desk their sanitation grade was 100! I purchased several of the sweet treats to go(lemon iced thyme cookies, banana pudding and peanut butter cookies.... and they were scrumptious.

I enthusiastically give my highest recommendation for BHT&TR. I
am planning on taking my clients back for tea time????
