Grilled Ginger Vietnamese Restaurant

A great dining experience! Great atmosphere and decor. Fast friendly service by a professional and fun staff. The food was great. I had shrimp egg rolls and the spicy beef noodle soup (# C9 on the menu). The egg rolls were light and crispy and the soup was delicious (huge portion). The soup did contain tripe and beef-tendon, so if you are not familliar with either it may take some getting used to. The soft drinks are sold by the can and are not free refills.

Authentic, fresh made Vietnamese dishes and superb service from staff. My girlfriend loves this place and today was my first time trying their food. Literally, a hidden gem in the Great American city off Yadkin Rd. Highly recommended!!! ????????

The food is delicious, the service is terrible. While I was there, I waited a while for my order, then the wrong order was brought to me twice. When they finally did bring out my meal, they were out of the brown rice I had ordered to go with it. While we were being served, the table next to us never was, and they got up and left. They did discount my meal, which was much appreciated. I was satisfied when I left, but I'm not sure I'll try to eat there on a Saturday night again. It was not incredibly busy, but it seems the managers don't trust most of the staff to take orders, so it's very disorganized. The lady that finally did take our order had a difficult time communicating, so that was hard too. I think it would help if they would spend more time training employees and trusting them so they can delegate more responsibility. The food is amazing, but you will may be waiting for it a while... Plan for extra time if you eat here, and don't be afraid to speak up or you may be overlooked.

Really a great experience. The ambiance is great and they have a vegetarian section of their menu! When I told our waitress that my wife was vegan, the owner or manager came out and took our order and asked about her diet which was very reassuring. Our food came out a few minutes later and was steaming hot, fresh and delicious. They have a great wine selection and my Chardonnay was chilled to perfection. The wait staff was attentive and efficient. Definitely deserves kudos and recommendation. Keep up the good work and we'll be back!
