It was pretty quick getting my food even with the party next door. And of course the food was excellent

I am Jamaican, what you would call fresh off the boat so I definitely know why real Jamaican food taste like because the taste is still fresh in my mouth. I’ve been to different Jamaican restaurants throughout the US and in different countries and I must say this one is up to par. I ordered the stewed chicken with rice and peas and it tasted great. Let me say Jamaican rice and peas is prepared with coconut milk but most restaurants don’t prepare It with the coconut milk for reasons such as; some people are allergic and they do not want to be sued, some people have IBS as well as it’s easier to spoil if you purchase it and leave it overnight before eating it. Apart from the fact that there wasn’t any coconut milk in the rice it was seasoned to perfection, I live 35 minutes away and I will be visiting as often as possible when I want a taste of home and don’t feel like cooking.
