Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom

Busy place but food spoke for itself. We had the pretzel sausage, artichoke cheese bread, onion rings and edamame for our appetizers. Then we shared a supreme flat bread pizza and baked spaghetti w/meatballs. We took home food and enjoyed it the next day and it was even better! We will return!

It’s all about how you fix your mistakes. I have been there around 10 times and never disappointed in the food quality. Tried something different every time. Had one visit with horrible service and they discounted my meal and got me a different server. Great experience with their management.

Went from 5 stars to 3. Now been there 11 times and I have come to the conclusion that 70% of the time, you’re going to get a good meal with decent service. The other 30% will be horrible service, but still good food. Service was bad and due to their delivery truck driver forgetting about them, they had no pasta, pepperoni or straws. All of which I wanted. Server decided 10 minutes was a good enough waiting time to see what we needed.

Our waiter was great! The food was awesome, the beer selection was incredible. My family had a lot of fun! Saw our waiter deal with a very difficult couple with a kid next table over, obviously throwing a fit and wanting free food. He handled it very well and professionally. Those customers should be ashamed of themselves for being such jerks to the amazing staff, and raising their kid like that. I work customer service too, and people like that have no business treating the awesome staff there that badly. So if you're going to he a jerk, don't bother going!

My only complaint is that their pizza is way over priced. It was great to visit when they did not have a huge crowd. Good service. The pizza was good. My drink was good.

First visit was excellent! Great atmosphere, etc..The second visit, not quite as good as the first, but still great!! The staff was nice, but the food wasn't as good, which was extremely surprising. We had taken some with us who had not been there before and not sure that they will return. They also mentioned the prices.. We will probably give it another shot, everyone has bad days...
