Taqueria El Refugio

Good and authentic. Having lived in So. Cal. I have eaten quite a bit of Mexican food and this was spot on. My husband grew up in So. Cal. and has spent a lot of time in Mexico, he wants to eat here at least twice a week.

The food is delicious and super authentic. I only have one minor complaint and that's the younger girl that works there is a bit rude for no reason. It sometimes makes me not want to get food there because she's so unpleasant. But everyone else is nice and the food tastes great.

One of the best taco trucks around. To me, one of the best ways to tell if the food will be authentic and delicious is, if the tamales are good, the rest of the food will be awesome. This place has it all. Great food, prices and selection.

The food here is pretty good. The first time I went, it was phenomenal! The next time, it was just good. Like any place, it can be hit or miss. In this case it wasn't a total miss, but I wasn't as wowed the second time I went. That being said, the my experience the first time was enough to make me want to go back again. The tacos are great, and I also love the quesadilla with either chicken or steak.
