Good food with decent prices. Most people purchase the buffet which has fried fish & chicken, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese (not like homemade), salad, soups, rolls, chopped greens (could be canned or frozen, but seasoned good), minced pork. Chopped chicken was not a choice on buffet or with the fried chicken/ BBQ platter. Great service-- Cheryl is very personable and fast. She has a great demeanor. My family and I were stuffed when we left.

Glad we found out this hidden gem on our way back to MD from OBX. My family was craving for authentic southern style food which this place has in abundance! Awesome buffet, kids enjoyed every bit of it and my whole family had smiles all over! Thank you Southland for this great service!

Stopped there on the way back from the Outer Banks, NC for lunch. They have a lunch buffet that was very good with good service. If you are traveling through the area, I recommend you stop by. Not sure if they have Military discounts, forgot to ask since the buffet with salad and desert was less than$10.00.

The earlier review was wrong on Google part. I gave you a 3-1/2 rating. A few little improvements were need to get to a 4+. Impove a little on vegetable seasoning and dessert selections. We have eaten at Southland many times and plan to do so in the future. Service is always great & cost very reasonable.

Great southern style buffet breakfast! Had grits and biscuits and gravy. Piles of bacon and sausage. Also had cereal, granola and fresh fruit. The whole family was happy. And it was reasonably priced.
