Metropolis

This place is a hidden gem! We tried it per the recommendation of a friend and WOW! Every dish looked and tasted amazing. We had a vegan in our group and were impressed to see that they offered both vegan and gluten free options. Metropolis is our new "go to" place on the OBX. Cheers!

Everything here was so good! It's tapas style, so we all got to try a little bit of everything. Our favorites were the asparagus soup, curried escargot, and fresh strawberry martinis. A must-visit in Corolla!

Fantastic food. Everyone enjoyed all the various dishes. I think we sampled just about one of everything. Service was equally as good. Highly recommend!

A very charming tapas and martini bar restaurant. Late on a Saturday night we almost had the restaurant to ourselves, which made it more romantic. They had a special on a peach martini that was out if this world. The calimari was very unique. The scallops were delightful. And the shrimp angel hair pasta dish was delicious. All the staff made us feel welcomed and were patient with all our questions. You can have a nice date night here or hang out with a group of friends for just drinks.

We always enjoy our visits here. The fresh fruit martinitis are fabulous. It's like drinking a fresh peach or strawberry. The small plates are always well cooked and very flavorful.
