The Crafty Cow Burger Bar

So very good. 2 burgers later and we were stuffed but didn’t want to stop eating! We got the Mac N Cheese burger and created one from the build your burger option. Also, try their ice cream sandwiches, or don’t if you are as full as us. The fries are solid. The crispy chips were tasty. It was good after being at the beach all day.

We had a super fun time ordering all sorts of unique burger combos (I personally got the Mac and cheese burger with bacon jelly - yum). The apps were great (onion rings and fried pickles), and we enjoyed putting together a flight from some great beer selection.

It's a little more hidden-away than most of the Coralla restaurants, which meant fewer crowds and a more low-key atmosphere which was nice.

The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it seemed to be run by only two servers (who both were excellent individuals), but that slowed the service a bit, although it was still pretty great.

I’ve been down to Corolla several times this summer and the Crafty Cow is a go to meal for us a couple times each visit. Their Black and Blue burger Is the best I have ever had. The cool snap of cucumber slices really sets theirs apart from any other. The sweet Thai chili wings or the off menu Old Bay wings are awesome. Check the daily specials board for something unique as well. I have usually opt for a local craft whit beer draft to chill with. Staff is right on in all interactions. If you want to socialize the bar is a good place to eat, drink and be merry. Inside or outside tables are comfortable for a family/group. This got long but is reflective of the several experiences I have had, you will not be disappointed.

Holy cow! We’ve lived here for over a year now and have found little food to recommend to out of town friends, but now we have The Crafty Cow and oh boy is it good!! Upscale burger flavors with a relaxed kicked back atmosphere. The bartender was awesome. The potato salad and onion rings were very well done and the mostly local rotating beer list is better than most joints here in the OBX. I highly recommend this place.

Great Food - place was packed and yet the wait staff were engaging and fun. Food was terrific. Even though it is a burger place - try one of the custom hot dogs. Absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended.
