The Blue Point

One of my all time favorites. They have wonderful seafood. The menu is fresh and updated. Interesting combinations and perfectly prepared food. Good wine and cocktails selections. Service is always great and friendly. I make a "point" of going every time I'm in the OBX.

We always plan a nice meal here when we visit. It never disappoints. We love their crab cakes which are generous in size, as well as sweet and flavorful. Reservations are best if you're from out of town. They have lovely seating by the sound for drinks while you wait. Plus the service is excellent. Just had another meal there last night. Enjoyed it completely!

Just had to share our experience from Friday night at The Blue Point. From the time we walked in to the moment we walked out we had a great experience. As soon as we walked in an outgoing gentleman greeted us and was able to check us in early. We sat at the wonderful outside bar and had a cocktail before dinner. Our waiter, Isaac was over the top fantastic! What an amazing waiter and all-around great person. It’s the little things like taking the time to sit down next to me show me how to debone my fish- that made our experience that much better. Our food was exceptionally great. Everything we had were all recommendations and I’m glad that we listened.

I just have to say once again how great Isaac was. We will come back to the restaurant for the food and to request to be seated in his section. Lastly, when we’re leaving the bus boy named Regan ran outside to return my girlfriend’s sunglasses that she forgot on the table. Our night was as over-the-top amazing, just like the people who helped us out.

To whoever is reading this, I highly recommend going to The Blue Point. And, to whoever is reading this from The Blue Point- thank you. Please get a message back to our waiter and tell him thank you as well!

Excellent, excellent food and service. This place definitely deserves 5 stars. Everything was delicious. Drinks were perfect. Our whole party left really full and happy! Would definitely go back of we are in the area again.

We booked the Back Bar at Blue Point for a wedding rehearsal dinner. We had 30 guests. Everything was FANTASTIC! From the very beginning working with Beth to select the menu, bar, decor nothing could have been easier or better. The food was great. We selected the BBQ menu and were not disappointed. The pastry chef made a grooms cake that was delicious and perfect in every way. Just great. The service at dinner was excellent. We were thrilled with everything! Outstanding!! Highly recommend for any event!
