Hit this place on a Wednesday for dinner. Friendly and knowledgeable staff provided good service. The flounder fish and chips were the best I've had in the OBX. They have nice selection of craft brews. Plenty of seating indoors. Outside beer garden has music some nights.
The food was outstanding, delicious, a very good meal. The service was as bad as the food was good. Once our meal was on the table we didn't see the waiter till he brought the check... without asking if we wanted dessert. He was very chatty with the tables around us. When he finally picked up the check and our card, he took another table's order before he ran our card. He brought it back with another table's card, stood and talked to them then dropped ours with a short "thanks". Too bad he didn't know I'm a really good tipper when service is good.
This place came highly recommended by a client of mine. We sat in the bar area at a booth, while the food was just alright, the service left much to be desired. we had to ask twice for silverware and I believe it was on the third request that we finally received the condiments that we wanted for our meal. After finishing our meal, we went outside. The outside area was much better. We went to the bar to get our own drinks, which were great, there was a band playing and games to play. With so many other places in the area, I don't think we will go back.
Delicious! Oddly one of the best house salads I’ve ever had — love the addition of toasted nuts. My dining partner also liked his burger, and we both enjoyed the giant pretzel we split for dessert. Wish the beers were a bit cheaper given that they’re brewed in-house, but the Beach Daddy Wit I had was fantastic.
This is my third time here, 2013,16, 19. The beer is spot on, I haven't had a a bad one. The Lemongrass Wheat which they now can is fantastic and the same year after year. They have a great menu too with a wide selection. I had a Cuban, very good! Everyone in our group was happy with what they had, even the kids! The price is responsible for a tourist area so good job keep it up and we will be back!
