This place is a hidden gem. We’ve come here each year on our yearly trip to the Outer Banks since 2015. Great food, easily equal to or better than many of the restaurants in Raleigh or Durham (both of which have a pretty high bar for foodies). This place does a great job of keeping their offerings fresh, but not patronizingly trendy like some of the other OBX restaurants on the main drag.
Lots of vegetarian options round out a thoughtful and balanced menu with many choices. We plan to continue eating here for years to come!
Food was good. They are trying hard to be an upscale restaurant. I don't know how it is working out for them. I would prefer a little more casual atmosphere and food.
Without a doubt, I loved everything about this quaint restaurant! Off the beaten path, it had a wonderful eclectic artistic vibe that was cozy and inviting! I felt comfortable immediately as we were immediately met with smiles and a genuine gesture to please enjoy ourselves! We had gone for lunch and had met my brother, after not seeing him for 19 years! I had the soup of the day, a rich creamy curry filled with a variety of perfect delights! I also ordered the spring rolls, piping hot & cooked to perfection. I truly wish we had eaten there more while we were there and if there hadn’t been a horrible storm, the night we were planning to go, we would have been able to! I would rate this a 10 if it were possible, and it should be on everyone’s must go to list while in the Outer Banks! The picture is of my brother and I, inside - where you are able to see some of their wonderful art!
Had the fish platter, which was good, but wish I had tried the tomato soup and grilled cheese! It looked amazing when it was served to the person next to me and she loved it. Will definitely try it next visit! Also the salad which came out to the table behind us looked excellent!
One of two best places to eat on the Outer Banks. Revolving menu. Fantastic small plates & desserts. Great wine list. Owners are both outstanding chefs in their own right. Make reservations.
