Argyles Restaurant

I really have mixed reviews here. Their prices would tell you it is a dinner dining restaurant, but once there, it is a very casual place. Meals will run to more than 20 per plate. So where do I start. Sat down and they had live music. Way too loud for a restaurant like this. But asked to be seated away from the music so I could hear myself think. We ordered but took a good 30 to get our food. Now the food was very good. The rosutto was some of the best I tasted. The Daniel seafood plate was very good and filling. The scallops dinner was cooked well, and also filling. But I just can't justify a $120 bill for 3, for the whole eating experience. 2 drinks, 3 meals, no dessert. Music too loud, and waited too long for service. And I had reservations. This one is your choice, but too many places at OBX, that is just as good, and a bit more reasonable.

Very good food the attention to detail was amazing and service was great! Everything we ate was spectacular and will definitely be going back to eat dinner! Leaving 5 because I can’t leave 10!

Great family owned place. The owners wife bakes and cooks everything from scratch! He even jumps in and does some cooking himself! We had breakfast there, and every single item was freshly made with quality ingredients. Prices are reasonable and staff are very friendly. We will def be eating here again on this trip! Thank you for the hospitality!

Food is just middle of the road. The atmosphere is ok. The staff is friendly. What makes this place stand out is Anthony! He works in the kitchen. He is 30 years old has two young children with a baby momma. His favorite pastime is hanging out with young teenage girls.
Be sure to have your daughter 15 and under stop in the kitchen to say Hi. He will love that! He is the Best! He will be sure to show them a good time!
