John's Drive In (Closed for the 2019 season)

John's....a local icon!! A must visit for a quick delicious meal. You can't go wrong here for good food. Only downfall, good luck getting a parking spot, you must have patience!!!!

Must stop! Out of the way drive up shack in the middle of beachfront residential area. Milkshakes are amazing. I had the fried jumbo shrimp-only 6 but there were plenty along with crispy-yet-soft fries. The tartar sauce was possibly the best I've had.

Okay, you have to try the Dolphin Boat...the absolute best fish and chips on the beach! AND, the peanut butter milkshake...Oh My Gosh! If you can find a parking spot that is! Place is over-run by tourists and locals alike. Parking is a serious issue! But, if you can squeeeeze in, well worth the visit. They have other foods like burgers and hot dogs too. Love this place, wish they were open in the off-season!

Affordable & delicious! Our family of 4 ate for less than $30! Husband got the dolphin sub and really enjoyed it. Crab cake was good too and we're from Maryland so that's saying something. We'll be back for sure!

The shrimp wear jumbo indeed. And better to perfection, as in not overly breaded. The hushpuppies were fresh and very tasty. I do appreciate good tasty food that doesn't sit heavy in my belly and make me want to roll over to sleep after eating. Although you can anticipate a wait here, just know the time is well spent in preparing you a good tasty and fresh meal to enjoy!
