As with most places to eat in the Outer Banks, get there early. The place was freezing cold. The food was good and you got big portions. Prices were reasonable. But get there early. It got packed quickly and had a line waiting. Luckily I got there early. I got to watch as the line started and continued outside. They had a decent selection on the menu. Its cafeteria style when ordering and a waitress brings you your meal. You seat yourself. What was difficult was when it was crowded, you had to wait for a seat and hope your food wasn't ready before you could sit down. As I said previously, the place was freezing cold. I wish I had brought a sweater to wear in there. Froze my butt off. I couldn't wait to get back I to the warmth outside. Definitely dont take a large group in there. But the food was good and the portions were decent.
Fast and great tasting breakfast food served by friendly staff. Love eating here every year when we come down. Line goes fast if you see one so make sure you wait. Either way, it's worth the wait.
We walked in around 11:15am “Order at the bar” service and then seat yourself. The meals came out very quick for how busy they were. The Greek omelet was great. The biscuits and gravy were good. Standard breakfast potatoes. We need to come back for the pancakes. I didn’t see any bloody Mary’s or mimosas available.
We got to the Outer Banks early Sunday morning and were looking for a breakfast place. This one was right by the road and we decided to give it a try. The place was crowded but not packed. You get in line, order your food, pay and get to a table and wait for your food. It wasn't too long of a wait. The people working there were very nice and helpful since we needed 6 chairs but there were only 4 chair tables available. The food was very good, we had pancakes, omelet, french toast, eggs and waffles.
The only bad thing was the very tiny bathroom but it was no big deal. I would recommend this place.
