Snack Shack

First, let me say it was nice to find a place that had their "Open" sign on that was actually open after driving down route 12 looking for a place to eat and stopping at 3 places that said they were open but were not. Second, the food was delicious and the service was great and friendly. We had the Italian sandwich, fried pickles, onion rings and shrimp wontons. Everything was so good! We will definitely stop again!

Thought our lunch would be mediocre since they have a captive clientele waiting for the ferry. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised! Blackened shrimp tacos and grilled chicken Caesar BLT were FANTASTIC. Fast, friendly service and even the French fries were done right. Thank you for the delicious lunch!!!

Was hungry while shopping, boyfriend and split a chicken Cesar wrap with a water for $13 total, happily surprised It came with fries! Made fresh, fast and delicious

Truthfully, I didn't expect to enjoy my food as much as I did. I was pleasantly surprised! The menu is simple yet diverse. It's a small building with limited staff but they managed to have our food ready within 10 minutes. There is 1 window where you walk up and order food. There is no indoor dining. There are a few tables outside and a few bar stools. I would have liked umbrellas at the tables though as there's no real shade anywhere to sit and eat while you wait for the ferry. Bottomline: good food, reasonable prices.

Really phenomenal food! I was surprised at how good this was, better than your average beach shack. The caesar BLT wrap was delicious but the fish tacos could have used a bit more seasoning. They are quick, we got our food in less than 10 mins. Just beware that it’s expensive, our lunch for 2 was over $30.
