Poor Richards Sandwich Shop

Absolutely satisfied with our wings, even though the sauce was forgotten on our carry out order. Wings were great straight up. The staff was very friendly, and the shop itself was clean, and very cute. Next time we will be eating in.

This place can get very crowded during lunchtime, so just be aware that you may be directed to the “overflow” seating in the shop’s bar. Our meal was good during our most recent visit, but we agreed that there was a bit too much mayo in/on everything (i.e., on the burger and in the pimento cheese) — just one more thing to note if you’re not a fan of the condiment!

The burger was great and I loved the cucumber salad. The burger was flavorful and juicy, with fresh tomatoes and lettuce. The cucumber salad had crispy cucumbers in a lightly flavored dill marinade. Even the pickle that came with the meal was a nice crisp dill pickle. It was all Delicious.

Nice place to stop for lunch. Wide selection of sandwiches and specials. Food was prepared well and quickly brought to your table.
A little overboard on the pickles, but hey, whose complaining.

There are several choices in town, this would be a good option.

Family lunch: My french dip was divine. Great clam chowder. Chicken BBQ sandwich was HUGE. The wife was disappointed in the crab cake sandwich. Overall, we liked it a lot.

Went one night and sat bar with the wife and we liked our food, but the small area slammed with people and a band was deafening (and I'm not that old). Not our scene I guess. Love it at lunch time and there's a park nearby.
