New York Pizza Pub

This is our second visit.
The first visit last year wasn't great as far as service. It took us over 1 hour to get our food but a big order of 20 to 40 pizzas had been placed and they didn't do ours before that. Our waitress was great and apologized a ton but just the managing of the orders by the kitchen, etc. was bad. They did give us free desserts for the trouble which were decent. The pizza almost a 5 star. We can understand this was a freak incident.
Our second visit went smooth. Great friendly service. Good water. I ordered a strawberry smoothie that was more like a strawberry slushie and I was expecting more like Panera Bread consistency. It tasted OK but not something I would order again. The pizza the same as the first time almost a 5 star! Great cheese, pepperoni, sauce, and crust.
Great atmosphere with several tables on the first and second floor, sports on TVs (I think at least 6 TVs downstairs where we sat), etc.
Plenty of parking.
We will stop by again for this pizza.

I had the medium wings which were fantastic. Got a side of nuclear sauce as its hotter than most restaurants hot. Had two slices of pizza and not bad but needed more sauce and to be more crispy.

Great news!! Went back last night. It was it's usual spectacular pizza! They hired their former pizza maker back. So happy!

Normally we love this place. We've been coming for years. Not sure what is going on lately but it's progressively gone down hill. The staff is friendly and attentive. The place was clean, but the pizza was a different story. Hardly any cheese, and the crust was crispy, not foldable like the true New York style pizza that it used to be. It tasted okay, but I'm hoping it goes back to it's normal quality or we'll be looking for a new weekly pizza place.

The NY Pizza Pub was Awesome! The staff was friendly and our waiter was amazing. The hand tossed, brick oven NY style pizza tasted great. The sampler was a great addition. The hot/sweet wings were some of the best i ever had. I was told the "Tour of Italy" was full of flavor.
