Pamlico Jacks

The food was good, but the service was great. Everyone interacted with our one and a half year old daughter, and the hostess/ manager? even ran out after us, saying she was in the other room and wanted to say good bye. There was a great live singer outside, but not too loud. We would definitely go here again.

I haven't been to Pamlico Jack's in a very long time and so glad we went. Food was amazing, service was fast and friendly and the view of the sound was breathtaking. Everyone enjoyed their meal. One of the best shrimp & grits I've had, husband loved his meatloaf and other family members said seafood dishes were delicious. I can't say anything negative about our visit and I'm a pretty hard critic.

What a great spot ... owner walked from table to table asking if everything was ok and chatted a bit, sweet man. He was even helping clear tables.
Everything was great, food outstanding (coming from Brooklyn, NY ) drinks perfect, view breathtaking sunset. Prices were beyond reasonable. Our waiter so so great.
Will be back.

The property is huge! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Waiter was very nice and accommodating. Food was delicious and service was quick. The bar knows how to make a good drink. I got the rum punch and you could definitely taste the liquor but it was still delicious.

The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly! It is a really neat place that includes both indoor or outdoor seating with water views of Roanoke sound. Part of the outdoor deck is built to resemble a pirate ship that the kids really enjoyed. They also have a long pier that goes out through the marsh to the water and there are information placards describing the various animals and sea creatures you can see. There is an osprey nest right there where we watched a mother osprey feeding her young. Was a really enjoyable dinner. I had the high seas saute which came loaded with crab meat. My wife had the grilled shrimp and really enjoyed it. My son had the kids menu fried shrimp which he absolutely loved. They had a live band getting ready to play while we were there however we had other plans so we couldn't stick around to hear them play. Would highly recommend!
