Tortugas Lie

Best place to eat in all of the Outer Banks! Their fish sandwiches and fish tacos are always fantastic and never disappoint. The island fries are fantastic. They also have a good local beer selection on draft and bottles. Perfect for lunch, dinner, and everything in between. Great for casual dining, with kids, or just to sit at the bar.

Another FANTASTIC meal at Tortuga's. I had the scallop special with mashed potatoes and green beans. She had burger and fries.
Our server was Lacie S. and we had great service! Food was out of this world awesome. Looking forward to our next return trip.

Tortugas Lie is a must when we visit OBX twice a year. There will be a wait for dinner during the busy season, so go early. Can't go wrong with any of the seafood, burgers or steaks. Caribbean flair so a touch on the spicy side... just a touch. The nachos appetizer can feed a family. Great wait staff, fun decor and always good food.

Delicious, fresh seafood!!! This place has gotten even better since the first time I’ve been. Some of the best meals I’ve ever had have been there! From the crab cakes, to the creole crawdads (both that starter and the pasta entree), to the tuna, you cannot go wrong!! So yummy!! A great selection of beer also. The shark attack isn’t the most amazing cocktail I’ve ever had, but it is classic and essential to the visit, and a virgin version is available. ????

Amazing all around. Our server was well prepared and was incredibly helpful navigating us through the menu. I ordered the jerk chicken and it was incredible. Drinks were good, waiting time was long (likely because it’s so good) but made manageable with outdoor waiting areas equipped with volleyball and seating, and all around a great experience. Definitely will be coming back.
