Nice local hangout for craft beer and wine. Owners ran the bar - great people. Kid friendly. Cuban food truck yesterday made it even better.
Have never let me down. Husband and wife that run this place are informative, kind, and above reproach. Also the beer is great!
My first experience here was awesome! It is so nice to see people getting together and bonding over some good drinks! It is off the side road, so you might not be able to see it from main street. They had a huge selection of beer and wine! It was a bit confusing on what to choose, considering there were so many options! The employees were nice and helpful. They had plenty of seating, both inside and out! I will definitely be back next time I am up there!
Very relaxed, neighborhood, drop by, meet some friends, have a beer, unwind, and leave relaxed, kind of place. You walk in and to your right are tables and towards the wall a long bar. Straight ahead are coolers filled with ALL KINDS OF BOTTLED AND CANNED BEERS, CIDERS, AND CREAM SODAS/NON ALCOHOLIC TYPE BOTTLED DRINKS at reasonable prices. Since I'm not a drinker, I went for the orange cream soda and it was fantastic. For the wine drinkers, there is a section to the left of the coolers with a selection of wine waiting for you to buy, again, at reasonable prices. As you come in the door, grab which ever you choose to drink, head towards the bar, pay and they will ask if you are staying, and if so, they will pop your tab, ask if you want a glass or not, pour it if you do, then head towards your choice of tables, couch, group chairs, or out door seating and enjoy! Good vibe and great gathering water hole. Ample parking as well. This place is off a side street so you can window shop Lexington afterwards.
The owners of the kettle are amazing. They always make you feel like family and are so knowledgeable about their products. They have an amazing selection of draft and bottle beers and fine wines. If you love a good cigar, Dave can walk you through your selection. If you are ever in Lexington choose this bar over any other. Sit back, enjoy and have a good time. You will be back for sure!!
