    Great local restaurant for breakfast. We have enjoyed it many times while staying at the campground down the street.

    I thought things would be different with the new management. I guess they kept to many of the old staff. We waited several minutes to be even recognized. While again several of the "regulars" were waited on. I wanted to get to be a regular myself, we stay a lot of weekends in our camper nearby. Not going to happen.

    Tarheel Q Restaurant is very clean. The Barbecue Salad is superb.  Staff is very friendly and personable. WiFi works well. But very environmentally irresponsible. They send a lot of harmful petroleum products like plastic and styrofoam to the landfill every day.
