(April 26, 2019, 11:04 pm)A great place to eat. Food is great and the tea is good...the table salsa is real mild sometimes I like mine with some kick. Prices are ok. Everything thing seems to be flavored nice. Spicey things are usually spicey.

Having lived in the southwest for over 20 years and travelling to Mexico many times, I believe I have rather discerning taste when it comes to Hispanic food. Monte Del Rey is the most authentic I have experienced since moving to North Carolina.

(February 13, 2019, 9:05 pm)YES! Excellent customer service...great food at reasonable prices. The waitress even gave me a little cinnamon chip with some whipped cream and strawberry sauce on top. Didn't order it...but had no problem making it disappear down my throat. HIGHLY recommended!
