Mocksville Family Restaurant

We have eaten here several times since they opened. They have a variety of choices, and everything I've ordered was very good. They have daily specials. Portion sizes are generous. Pictured below is the shrimp and fish special, which includes hush puppies and fries or baked potato.

The food and the service were both amazing!! Fast friendly service, large portions and a large menu of items to choose from. We had the Saturday special seafood dinner,and it's was delicious !! I will be recommending this restaurant to all of my friends and family. We will definitely be back. Our waitress Mandy was awesome.

I ordered that large scallops with baked potato, hush puppies, apples, mac-n-cheese, sweet potato casserole. The hush puppies were really good. The scallops were ok. The breading fell off when I picked them up. Idk what causes that. The baked potato was fresh. The sides were really bland. I didn’t eat them. Although the restaurant was packed and people were waiting outside to be seated, my food was prepared quickly. The staff was friendly and efficient.

We found this diamond In the rough by chance. We were camping near by and wanted breakfast before we went home. There were four of us in our party. They were quite busy when we came in. We were greeted right away and seated. As I said I said they were extremely busy. Our waitress brought our drinks and took our order. The order too a bit of time but you could tell everyone was working hard to take care of the customers. The food arrived and wow it was top shelf.perfect omelets, the same with sunny side up eggs to a beautiful Belgium waffle and pancakes. The bill was only $40.00 for all of us. My nephew even order extra sides. What a wonderful place. We even talked and said it would be worth a trip to just eat there. We saw huge plates of seafood being served along side of breakfast. If you're in the area definitely don't hesitate visiting this wonderful home town restaurant.
