Stopped here when traveling through. Family friendly, excellent food and customer service! Highly recommend!!

I have been wanting to stop here for a while a d I finally had time so I tried it for the first time tonight. As soon as you walk in you notice the homey feeling and the friendly atmosphere. There are pictures and stories all over the walls about the founders and the town of Rose Hill. I found the food to be very good. It was so hot when it reached the table I had to let it cool off before I could eat it. I had an amazing waitress, she made sure my tea glass stayed full and checked on me often. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you get the chance, it was well worth it. I had an entree with 2 sides and it came to a total of $11.50. I was so full when I left all I wanted to do was take a nap.

Great home cooked food, generous portions, reasonably priced. Loved the lemon blueberry pie. Taking a whole one back home to Virginia! The place was packed and folks were having a great time.

Food is always good. If you want some good southern comfort food, this is your place. From fried chicken and steak to flounder and shrimp, get a taste of local cooking at very reasonable prices. The wait staff is friendly and the owners are even friendlier. If you are visiting in the summer time, try their Lemon Blueberry Pie. It is hands down the beat pie you will every eat.

Rose Hill Restaurant is a wonderful family restaurant! I've never had a bad meal there, and I always save room for lemon blueberry pie when it's available. It's run by a great family too. A true asset to the community.
