I love this place! I eat here every few weeks for lunch, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. I’ve only had delicious meals every single time - I recommend anything that comes with plantains, yum! You can see the staff is trained well, and the management is always on the floor active with them and customers. I plan on being a regular!

The food is always excellent and the service on point. It helps that the owners manage the service and are the head chef respectively. How much they care is obvious in every detail. By the way, the menu is really interesting combining Mexican, Cuban, and American influences. I strongly recommend it!

Don't let the description fool you: this was far and away some of the best food and service we have had in all Durham. ("Tex Mex" makes this place sound like an upscale Taco Bell.) Great food, wonderful atmosphere. Our server was great at recommending things to us, and the food came out quickly. Definitely save room for dessert. We will be back soon!

My husband and I have been here 3 times to eat over the last 4 months. Every time we've visited the food and the service have been exceptional. The Picadillo is so rich in flavor and the Patron margarita is to die for. There are unique dishes and it's easy to tell the chefs are passionate about creating food you won't find on every menu. The atmosphere is adult but not stuffy, and lastly, the prices are fair. Had visitors in town and they agreed this place is special.

I thought about making reservations but when I looked on Open Table there were openings every 15 minutes on Saturday so I didn't. When we got there no open tables for 20 minutes. We opted to sit at the bar. Service was great and the food was good. I like the relaxed atmosphere and enjoyed my beer and dinner.
