This place is amazing and I don't think there's anything like it in the area. I will be adding this to our list of local places to take visitors! Biscuits are the perfect blend of modern and classic flavors. The blueberry chipotle biscuit is EVERYTHING! Get a cinnamon roll to share (or on it's own)...biscuits are HUGE!!
Each biscuit is a full meal full of flavor. The service was prompt and friendly. Would love more savory vegetarian options, though the current options are delicious. Sweet options can’t be beat!
Oh my, what an incredible find! Living in the Triangle I am always on the lookout for great new food options and I usually turn to Durham where I am seldom disappointed. Stopped by Debbie Lou's for a takeout brunch and we were blown away. The flavours were incredible (we had the honey lime chipotle chicken and the blackened chicken), the portions generous and the service was friendly. Brought a strawberry biscuit home and with misgivings, microwaved it the next morning; still incredible. Cannot wait to head back. Highly recommended.
Pretty good. The chicken on my biscuit was crispy and was a good sized piece. It was very greasy and heavy though. The gravy wasn’t too spicy or thick, had a good texture. It’s VERY small inside and the parking lot has three spaces. You can park next door though. If you are into very simple southern style biscuits I would say try it. It wasn’t my thing but it also wasn’t bad!
Definitely great biscuit sandwiches with some great choices. Some great unusual choices like duck in addition to fried chicken (dirty chicken at that!) We went a few weeks ago and it was a little rough but great service and great food. Parking is back behind the building in the shopping center lot on the side. I've heard great things about the diner too so can't wait to try it!
