Ma's Diner

When a late night bite was in line, Ma's Diner pulled through with unexpected taste and quality. We enjoyed Ma's breakfast, the breakfast sandwich and the French toast casserole (which wowed!). Fresh mixed berry syrup perfectly complimented the sweet crisp confection creation. Wish I lived here so I could enjoy Ma's regularly. Thanks for an unforgettable meal.

Simply fresh and DELISH! The food here is outstanding and reasonably priced. Portions are amazing even with prices going up all around us. I ordered pick up and sampled it in my car then decide to just pull over and dine in my vehicle. My food was so hot and flavorful. Although I wanted to order everything, I decided on the corn dog nuggets, risotto, steak and crinkle fries with brown gravy. Everything was amazing! Next time I will try the famous pesto wings and caesar salad. Try Ma's Diner, you'll be glad you did!

Well what can I say finally a place that Durham has been craving for so long!! A late night pick up spot or delivery spot with amazing fresh food. But guess what he is one of our own none other than John Riggs the legend lol in my books. He has created an amazing fresh ghost kitchen called Ma’s Diner that I have had delivery service from for the last three weekends and one night it was even Riggs delivering the food lol!!! The mussels amazing!!! The breakfast food so delicious, fresh salad, my man has had the chicken cutlet and was so impressed that this was late night food much less delivery. Let’s get it straight we have talked about this for 20 years in houses drunk saying If only there was a late night delivery place that was amazing and now there is support this place because it is amazing and it’s a local that we all know!!

This is a brand new concept in Durham and it definitely should have happened a long time ago! Chef John Riggs and crew are veteran Durhamites with excellent culinary roots who have been chosen to create excellent late night food, much of which you could easily see on a fine-dining menu, such as RIsotto and Eggplant Rolatini. Lovingly prepared late-night food?? YES! They are doing it! And I don't see the name of it on the online menu but ask for the French toast/Bread pudding thing. Do it!
