Pompieri Pizza

Hands down the best pizza I’ve had in NC. It’s a simple sit down restaurant with aquaponic fish tanks in the dining area. The service was quick and friendly. No frills but the pizza was delicious. Thin, soft crust and cheese to die for.

This is a counter order place where you pay and take a number. However you can sit at the bar for full service. I don't quite understand the goldfish tanks instead of a railing for the line? The pork pizza was pretty good but there was not much pork belly on it. I did enjoy the nice roasted garlic taste. Has a nice outdoor seating area if you feel like eating outside.

I ate this pizza after a 3.5 hour drive and it's basically the best thing I've ever tasted. Perfect chewy and crispy crust, incredible toppings, and overall worth the trip. Order the BC pie. You will not regret it.

I felt that this place was a nice stop to get food. I got a fruit salad with salami. I suggest this place for anyone who has a large party. The food there is pretty good I especially liked the goat cheese. There's not much parking nearby. Also I really enjoyed the environment the fish and plants really added to it. To put icing on the cake the art in there was so fascinating.

This place is beyond amazing. Best pizza I've had in North Carolina. The service was equally great. Sarah was super attentive and went out of her way to make our experience great. Will definitely be returning again soon!
