I am a seafood lover and this place was fantastic. Daily fresh seafood (when they are out they are out). It’s a cute little shack with the best tasting food. You can choose from seafood plates or seafood rolls. Plates come with slaw (not mayonnaise based) and sliced potatoes. Seafood is lightly breaded and seasoned. Hush puppies lay in honey. They are to die for! Super yummy place. We are from Ohio but have family here. We will certainly return. Thank you Saltbox for the delicious experience. Ps the lemon punch is delightful.

Pleasantly surprised . I love seafood and not everyone knows how to prepare it well. This place exceeded my expectations!!! The food was good , the proportions were large and the meal preparation time was quick, as it was cooked to order. I will be back!

I love soft shell crabs and it’s season now, my boyfriend and I have been driving around to find them, we found this place, which the third restaurant we have had soft shell crab at, this one is the best! We also ordered fried black sea bass, it’s also delicious! If you like fried seafood this is the place to go!

The customer service is great, but those prices were through the roof. I ordered a fried flounder plate that comes with fried potatoes and slaw. For $20, I expected the flavoring to be a lil better. My food desperately needed salt and pepper; and The slaw had a strange smokiness that I'm not used to. It wasn't awful, just not worth $20. I'm comparison to Mayflower, which is half the price, and better tasting, I'd choose Mayflower.

Great food. I mean like the best seafood. But it's expensive, especially for eating outside. I'll go again, but can't go as often as I'd like die to price.

High recommend just to try it, though. Great sides as well.
