Ricky's New York Pizza

Thanks to Ricky's I've learned the difference between a pizza & a pie, and I can honestly say that Ricky's has by far the best pie in town! I've had a lot of other items and never had any complaints. I read some of these comments and seriously wonder if the people commenting actually were in the same place I go to. Yes Ricky has had an issue from time to time w/a bad apple employee, everyone is human. But I also know that if you have any issues & you speak directly to Ricky & are polite about it, he handles his employees. They, just like his regular customers, are family, and he's not gonna allow a black sheep to negatively impact his business, other employees & customers. I would highly recommend Ricky's Pizza to anyone, especially any misplaced northerners looking for a true NY style pie!!

Had seen great reviews and while in Durham gave this place a try. Best pizza I had in quite awhile. Will definitely visit again.

I work about 5 minutes away from Ricky's, I only get a 30 minute lunch break starting at 12PM. I call them around 11:30, and place my order, and tell them that I will be there at 12:05 to dine in, and eat my lunch. I arrive there at 12:05P, and they have it ready for me, and I pay for it and enjoy it. I usually get the Cheese Calazone, it is really delicious, and it a huge portion. The owner, and the staff are very friendly, and laid back. They are always playing really good music on their Jukebox, which is another plus.

Best pizza I’ve had in the area. Great service... I’ve always had friendly interactions with the staff. The delivery guys are also awesome.

Good pizza is hard to find and it’s even better when the restaurant and it’s staff are consistently top notch.

Truly good pizza, Stromboli, and salad! We moved to the Durham area from lower Connecticut, and we were a little worried whether we'd find good pizza in the area. While we certainly like other pizza places in Durham as well, Ricky's is always solid, reliable, and delicious!

Don't let the strip mall location fool you - they have good food, friendly service, and their food is ready quickly. ????
